Katei
Overview
Katei is a largely rural continental planet with many city-states operating independently of one another. Occasionally one will rise above the others to become the leading power on the planet. Flora and fauna range from mediterranean to tropical and even some tundra area near the poles. The majority of the forests and plains are natural preserves used for hunting, fishing, and farming.
The cities of Katei have an oriental architecture, with many towering pagodas and smaller wing-roofed buildings melding in with the nature surrounding them. Vehicles are straightforward and functional with artistic flourishes.
Katei has a single moon which goes through complete phases once a month.

Inhabitants
The primary species, also known as Samorizi, are large-sized humanoids, reminiscent of Oni, with a love of bladed weapons. Their skin colour ranges from a a pale white to bright red, and they are able to transform at will into a monstrous, huge Tengu type being. The species is extremely focused on honor, and detests those who utilize subterfuge.
