Vemipar
Overview
Vemipar is a tidally locked planet in synchronous orbit around its sun. The daylight side reaches temperatures unbearable to most lifeforms, while the night side is perpetually chilled, warmth only coming from the many geothermal vents that dot the surface. There is little vegetation for much to survive, let alone thrive, however the inhabitants have made use of technology to maintain a sparsely populated civilization.
Vemipar has four moons, each of which goes through separate monthly phases, offset by a week.

A pale-skinned, reclusive species which survives off the blood of others, they populate the dark side of Vemipar, a planet who's rotation is perfectly synced with its year. A technologically advanced species, they were forced to spread beyond their planet when food became scarce.
